Vidura college proudly presents ourselves as the first ever school cricket team in Italy. Our school cricket team was founded at the end of 2017 by identifying the interest of students. And as the first step of spreading cricket as a game among Italian schools. Then, we got ourselves registered in the Italian federation of cricket as the first ever school cricket team in Italy. As a result, Italian cricket federation invited us to take part in “Cricket On Ice"” promotional cricket match organized on a frozen St. Moritz lake in Switzerland. During the match, our students were able to get valuable advices from world famous Sri Lankan cricket legends such as Mahela Jajawardena, Kumar Sangakkara, TM Dilshan, Lasith Malinga. We are so happy and proud as the first ever Sri Lankan school who participated to such an event and giving our students a lifelong golden memory to meet cricket legends such as Virender Sehwag, Ajit Agarkar, Michael Hussey, Mohammad Kaif, Zaheer Khan, Andrew Symonds, Ramesh Powar, Mithun Manhas, Rohain Jain, Shahid Afridi, Jacques Kallis, Graeme Smith, Daniel Vettori, Grant Elliot, Nathan McCullum, Owais Shah, Monty Panesar, Shoaib Akthar, Abdul Razzaq, Matt Prior, Aiden Andrews..
